Abdominoplasty

Abdominoplasty

Abdominoplasty, also known as a tummy tuck, is a cosmetic surgical procedure used to remove excess skin and fat from the abdomen and tighten the underlying muscles. The procedure is ideal for those who have lost a significant amount of weight, experienced pregnancy, or have excess skin and fat due to genetics or aging.

During abdominoplasty, a horizontal incision is made in the lower abdomen, and excess skin and fat are removed. The underlying abdominal muscles are then tightened and the remaining skin is re-draped and sutured in place. The procedure can be performed under general anesthesia and may take several hours to complete.

Abdominoplasty provides remarkable changes of the abdomen, resulting in a flatter, more toned, and contoured midsection.
